Hello!

Well it's been a few months since I've updated here so I thought I'd throw up whats been going on. Things are great, my 22nd birthday jsut passed (Jan.13th) and Im very excited to say my father gav me Open Canvas! Now i dont have to worry about v1 not working, and it has a bunch of the tools form PS that I need, so Im looking forward to much more painterly stuff showing up in the next few months! I got sooooo many happy bday notes from people, and i think those were actually more appreciated than the gifts, it's nice to see I've got that much suppor, and friends willing to take time out of their day!!! ^.^

In regards to my health (that single seizure I had in Sept) the doctor says that I may have a minor form of epilepsy, but with medicine apparently it can be treated very well and isnt too problematic. I was suprised to hear that my broken nose didnt have much to do with it, but now that I think of it, my fact bank been a little fuzzy in the last few months *shrug.* We're gunna do some testing in the next few months to see formally exactly what is going on in my brain :) Luckily I havn't had another and I dont intend to, it was such a horrible feeling being conscious but having my brain scramble to grasp at things I couldnt control...and then waking up in the ambulence. On a lighter note though I'v also lost some weight and have grown my hair out and am feeling very pretty. Also have the attention of a very nice boy from Texas who has been lavishing me with sweet nothings, which is nice after 6 months of being single. It may be bloody cold here(-45), but Im warm with twitterpation!

School is going great as well, Im mostly focusing on ceramics and paitning, but my design studio's are great too. If your curious, I post all of my projects on my main site: [link] of which Ive been giving more attention. I have a TON of drawings in regards to life changes in the past 6 months that needing colouring, where as the sailor moon stuff won't change and can wait. I do still intend to get some things up, so no worries, I havnt disappeared completely!!

Anyhow I'm off to work
Hope everyone is enjoying January as much as I am
I'll writ back in the spring, or when something else interesting happens!

Well it's been about 6 month since I posted anything so I figured it's time to update. Generally I've been well, although there have been a few interesting events. In september I had a seizure from gettin my headbutted while playing rugby, but I havnt had another one and other then a broken nose (that I didnt even know about until a few days later when I got my head scanned from the seizure) Im fine. I have an appmt with a neurologist in January, but I think it was jsut from the shmuck in the head, luckily the season came to an end the week after, so I didn't miss alot. In lou of that though, I avoided my computer for a month, and have been taking my rediculous hours infrot of it down, which is why I've been fairly quiet for the last little while.

As far as school is going, it's great. Im in my 3d year for my honours degree (graphic design) and despite being swamped with homework, I am learning a great deal. Most of my school projects are submitted in my main gallery here if your interested: [link]
I actually jsut got back from Chicago. A registered weeklong trip is required to graduate, so I headed out with 200 others to experience the art scene and culture! It was amazing, soooo many great things to see, and lots of the art from my history classes at the art institute. My only complaints are: there was no recycling program, alcohol and tobacco bilboards were everywhere (they're illegal in Canada...and alcohol is only sold from the vendors or liscenced wine stores, and all tobacco has to be out of sight), and drivers honk at ANYTHING. We cross the street at the light...and driver's honk for us to get out of the way, wtf lol. That aside, it was clean, the trees still had leaves, the grass was green, and there were soooo many amazing buildings. The 16 hour busride was almost worthwhile lol!!
Now that I'm back, Im gunna focus on getting school work done, but in December I'm off again to Toronto to see a best friend! Hopefully I can budget to not be broke by the new year, but Im sure 2007 will be very memorable!!

Well as most of you have seen, I've completed my first SM commsion, and Im proud! I've always wanted to do some, but was worried abou the whole process, but really it's not too bad. I think I'll start posting some info for sketches and full drawings, it'll be good to help fund for school, and will give me a grasp on how commisions go from design clients.

In the way of finishing more SM fanart, I have quite a few linearts, but am trying to catch up on my main gallery as I've neglected it too. I'll slowy start posting items, and I'm sorry for those that have put some interest in my site, but I jsut hate posting half finished pictures! I have lots in the go, I just can't get myself to put them on display just yet. I'd also love it if anyone has any requests or things they were hoping to see, I need some new ideas , and I always try to keep drawing.....you jsut may not see the product for a while lol.

Anyhow I'll post my commish stuff later, time for class
Hope all is well, and everyone is enjoying the fall!!

First off Im soooo sorry I have been absent in the last few weeks, my luck was running low and crap jsut kept on happening.
To start from the beginning around the end of april we had an early rainfall (usually still snows then) and we didn't have the downspouts up...the next morning i find the basement isn't a puddle but the carpets are soaked. Apparently insurance didn't cover it so me and my dad pulled up alllll the carpet so it wouldnt mold and cut out most of the wall around the window that flooded. From there I moved my desk (luckily that wasnt under the window) and most of my stuff upstairs but where there wasno internet.

From there I was working on some art and figured Id run an easyclean, adaware, spybot and viruscheck. All seemed well, the next day I start up and it givesme a windows boot error. After getting frustrated at dell for not sending me my OS CD's when they delivered my comps and waiting two weeks to get them,I give my system to a friends mom whos a IT teach to fiddle with. She eventually tells me she cant get in and that we have to reformat....so i think well there goes all my art >.< luckily I told her not to, that Id rather buy another...then 2 days later she has it runnig and said it was a virus in the system files she just couldnt get at easily *sigh*
The basement was less of an issue we jsut waited for it to dry out, dad called the contractor they came in, patchedthe carpet and walls, did a bit of painting and now we're jsut waiting for an afternoon to start moving everything back.

On the good side of things, my work is going to keep me over the summer, and I have two trips planned with my goodfriend, one to Seattle in June and another to Toronto and new York in August. I can't wait for both! Yay for good moods that follow the beginning of summer!!

:painter: ART :deviation:
Luckily none of my stuff was lost in the whole ordeal....but I have been without any of my art to work on for the last month. Anyhow its over...schools over (luckily it happened the week after school ended) and I have muchos time to work on colouring all the stuff i havesitting around! I have MANY ideas floating around and now that work isnt too busy I may just start doing more linearts too.

Anyhow once again sorry for the longhaul of quietness
I promise I love you all and am still keeping an eye on you!

Happy March!
Minus the fact that it's still -20 with the windchill and that the snow won't start melting until the end of april *sigh* it's still better than -50 so I won't jinx myself.
Once again for all those wonderful individuals who watch me I am sooooo sorry that this site has been lacking. Sadly the one problem with working twards a degree in graphic design is all the homework that it consists of...and right now thats sucking up allll my colouring time at home. I Have been submitting my projects, but over on my main page: [link] >.< I aso have been working a lot, so I can do lineart, but don't have access to my prgrams to colour anything *hits forehead*! I have atleast 30 linearts sitting on my comp ( many of them for my main site with my wow and feral chars as well as my SM ones.)

In my nonschool life though things have been going well! I've been going to many concerts, since evanessence I've seen JC Superstar which was awesome in the front row! As well as both Chantel Creviazuk (Canadian singer with her roots in this city) and Wolfmother an australian rock group, reminiscent of 70's rock. They put on the most AWESOME live show, most of which was solos and great stage presence. Hopefully I can keep up the one concert a month....it seems to be keeping me sane amoung all the stress and crap we have for weather.

The expansion in wow has also been sucking up my spare time, the few hours I have after work before bed have usually been used for levelin up so I don't lose momentum in the game. Luckily serious raiding has been put on hold for a while so it's not that stressed to be on all the time, but again once I get on it's hard to get off...and colour pictures :P

:painter: ART :deviation:
As mentioned above my schoolwork in art is taking presidence over personal projects, but hopefully I'll be able to squeeze some in. For those wondering here's a summery of what I have to do (~ design, - drawing):
~ Redesigning a product ( I chose shampoo) after presenting a collection of good marketing and bad marketting
~ Just finished a vector poster for a bazaar, next I have to create a poster illustrating a poem using vectors, or illustration/ photography composed in indesign
-a memory map illustrating my childhood on a sheet of paper as large as i am (I'm having sooo much fun with it!)
- A drawing on the theme of the dead

It doesn't seem like so much, but its coming to the end of term and pojects are being graded more harshly as our knowledge pool increaes (or so they hope lol) so as always it's going to be busy. So yeah, not ranting, but just spreading the word that I havn't died...just up to my ears in projects.

*I still love all you watchers...promise!*

January should be renamed 'Busy'

For all those wonderful individuals who watch me, I am sooooo sorry that this site has been lacking. Sadly the one problem with working twards a degree in graphic design is all the homework that it consists of...and right now thats sucking up allll my free time >.< I was thinking of doing a few SM design pieces to test out some of the style I'm learning and break up these dry periods, but for the meantime things may be quiet.
In my nonschool life though things have been great! My 21st bday just passed (the 13th) and I feel better than ever. I got chocolate cake, money, and a bouquet of flowers *is sooo happy* . I'll probably invest the money twards getting a new ipod as the one I have is 2.5 yrs old and the battery is dead (as a new battery would be 75 plus shipping, so I figure why not just update for teh extra).
I also went and saw Evanescence on Saterday to celebrate and I was thoroughly impressed. She is a very good live performer, and has a very strong voice. Was also happy that she sang most songs from her new album and a few of her LP's; she even wore one of her designed dresses...which I'll probably sketch Rei in at a later date ^.^
That's not the end of things either, tomorow I'm due to see JC superstar from the frontrow, and with the live Rocky Horror on at work (I do box office at a local theatre) I've got my free ticks to see it on friday! I'm so excited, gunna dress up...I'll probably do some SM sketches along that theme as well lol.

As mentioned above my schoolwork in art is taking presidence over personal projects, but hopefully I'll be able to squeeze some in :P For those wondering here's a summery of what I have to do (~ design, - drawing):
~ bookcover, spine and 2 page spread (about the style) in the style of a designer we choose
~ A selfportrait as an animal, metaphorical or literal created through photoshop
-a positive artistic intervention (I will be mailing thankyou notes to all the Ross's in the city)
- A landscape 18'x32' consisting of 40 items our teacher has outlined

It doesn't seem like so much, but it's all due Febuary first, and is all supposed to be done out of class...and with the WoW expandsion coming out this week, well sheesh I'm going to be busy. So yeah, not ranting, but just spreading the word that I havn't died...just up to my ears in projects.
